If you would like to arrange for someone to have very safety assessed behind the wheel there are generally two possibilities:

1) A comprehensive, fitness to hold a driving licence assessement at your nearest Assessment Centre. As fitness to drive is mainly a medical decision this will involve an occupational therapist as well as a driving assessor.

2) A local risk assessment that can in the drivers own vehicle and on familiar roads. This can be used to guide you or a medical professional on how much risk is increased due to the cognitive medical condition. It cannot be used to demonstrate fitness to hold a driving licence to DVLA.
